Who we are
Reelm Ltd is a streaming platform for AI-generated short series and films, registered in England and Wales. We operate at reelm.co.uk and app.reelm.co.uk.
We are the data controller for personal data processed through our platform. Questions about this policy can be directed to lord@reelm.co.uk.
What we collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the platform:
- Email address — when you join the waitlist or register an account
- Payment information — processed by Stripe; we never store card details directly
- Usage data — which series you watch, completion rates, and interactions (used to improve the platform and calculate creator payouts)
- Creator content — video files, titles, descriptions, and metadata you upload
- Device and browser data — collected automatically for security and platform performance
How we use your data
- To operate your account and provide access to the platform
- To process payments and calculate creator revenue shares
- To send you service updates, payout notifications, and platform news
- To improve content recommendations and platform performance
- To prevent fraud and maintain platform security
Third-party services
We use the following third-party providers, each with their own privacy policies:
- Stripe — payment processing and creator payouts via Stripe Connect
- Supabase — database and authentication (hosted in EU West, London)
- Bunny.net — video delivery and streaming
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — platform hosting and edge delivery
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it (for example, financial transaction records which must be kept for 7 years under UK law).
Your rights (UK GDPR)
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

Cookies
We use essential cookies only — these are required for the platform to function (authentication sessions, security tokens). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies from third parties.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance.
